Our Story

Winners Chapel International Edinburgh is a branch of Living Faith Church Worldwide, with its International Headquarters “Canaan Land” based in Ota, Nigeria, where the Presiding Bishop, Dr. David Oyedepo, preaches the Word of Faith liberating men everywhere from every oppression of the devil.

“The hour has come to liberate the world from all oppression of the devil through the preaching of the Word of Faith, and I am sending you to undertake this task.”

It is therefore our sincere privilege to welcome you to this great and glorious family, Winners’ Chapel International Edinburgh. We believe that the God who has brought you here has done so with a divine purpose, and we are confident that His purpose will surely stand.

Today, testimonies of liberation through our messages, books, magazines, and other periodicals continue to abound. The Word of Faith is working like fire for the liberation of mankind across nations, and we remain committed to fulfilling this mandate throughout Edinburgh and Scotland at large.

Our Mission

David Oyedepo received a mandate from God in an 18‑hour long vision in May 1981 to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the Word of Faith.

Two years later, Pastor Enoch Adeboye ordained David Oyedepo and his wife, Faith Abiola Oyedepo, commissioning the newly born ministry. Five years later, David Oyedepo was ordained a Bishop.

Living Faith Church began in Kaduna and later expanded to Lagos, eventually growing into the international headquarters at Faith Tabernacle.

Bishop David Oyedepo is an acclaimed author of over 70 titles and Chairman of Dominion Publishing House, with over four million prints in circulation worldwide.

Our Mandate

Our mandate for ministry was received from God in an 18‑hour vision to the Presiding Bishop of this commission, Bishop David O. Oyedepo.

“Now the hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the Word of Faith.”

This mandate was further confirmed in Ephesians 6:16, establishing the Word of Faith as the key to triumphant living.

Today, testimonies of liberation through messages, books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, and other periodicals continue across nations.

The Pillars of Our Faith

God commissioned us with the ministry of the Word of Faith to preach it to all generations and liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil. By the leading of the Holy Ghost, Dr David Oyedepo was led to classify the mandate (Word of Faith) given to him by God into specific areas of emphasis, in direct response to Isaiah 40:6. “The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry?…”.

He has named these 12 areas of emphasis as the 12 Pillars of our Commission. We have crossed Jordan into power, bearing the ark of liberation. Here are the 12 stones, after the order of Joshua 4:1-8, 20-24. Having stood firm upon these twelve stones! And they have resulted in breakthroughs and amazing testimonies both for the ministry and all that are partakers with us, of the same grace.

**Pastor Ifeanyi Ihenacho** Resident Pastor, Winners Chapel International Edinburgh

Pastor Ifeanyi Ihenacho serves as the Resident Pastor of Winners Chapel International, Edinburgh. He is committed to teaching the Word of Faith, grounded in biblical truth and practical Christian living. His ministry is dedicated to raising believers in faith, spiritual maturity, purpose and godly character, in line with the Liberation Mandate and the transformative power of God's Word as revealed to the Presiding Bishop, Bishop David Oyedepo.

With a deep love for God and a genuine passion for people, he provides spiritual leadership, guidance and pastoral care to the church community. Through his ministry, lives are transformed, faith is strengthened, destinies are empowered and individuals are equipped to fulfil God's purpose for their lives.
